DIRECTIONS TO THE WEDDING/RECEPTION LOCATION (USA)
Below are driving directions to get to the wedding/reception location, 13 Putnam Rd. in Pomfret CT. If you'd like to use Google Maps, you'll need to find directions to: 13 Putnam Rd., Pomfret Center CT 06259. (Do not send mail to this address.)
	From the North (Boston, Logan Airport, Mass Pike, or Route 395 South) Take the Mass Pike to exit 10 (Auburn/Route 395). Take 395 South into Connecticut. Get off at exit 97 (Putnam/Route 44). Turn right off the exit, onto 44 West. Follow 44 West through the town of Putnam, and stay on it (this will require a few twists and turns, but the signs are good). After about 4 miles, you will come around a sharp curve and see a Citgo station on your right, and a blinking light ahead. We are the big green house directly after the Citgo (and before the light).
	From the North (New Hampshire, Route 495 South, or Route 290) Take 495 South to Route 290. In Auburn, Route 290 turns into Route 395. Continue on 395 South into Connecticut. Get off at exit 97 (Putnam/Route 44). Turn right off the exit, onto 44 West. Follow 44 West through the town of Putnam, and stay on it (this will require a few twists and turns, but the signs are good). 	From the South (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Manhattan) Take the NJ Turnpike over the George Washington Bridge to the West Side Highway heading north. The West Side Highway will turn into the Henry Hudson. Take the Hudson to the Sawmill Expressway. Then, either take the Sawmill to Route 684 (if you don’t mind windy roads) or take the Sawmill to the Cross County (keep left) to the Hutchinson River Parkway to 684. Take 684 to 84 East. Continue on 84 into Connecticut for another two hours, to exit 69 (Route 74). Take a right onto 74 and follow it for about 10 minutes, until it ends at Route 44. Take a left onto 44 East. After about 15 minutes (and many twists and turns--stay on 44) you will pass the Pomfret School, a huge sprawling campus on the left. About 3/4 of a mile further, you will come to a red blinking light. Across the street on the right you will see Martha's Herbary. Go right at the blinking light and take a left into the first driveway--we are the big green house in between Martha's Herbary and the Citgo station.
	From the South or West (Danbury, Hartford, Route 84 East) Take 84 East to exit 69 (Route 74). Take a right onto 74 and follow it for about 10 minutes, until it ends at Route 44. Take a left onto 44 East. After about 15 minutes (and many twists and turns--stay on 44) you will pass the Pomfret School, a huge sprawling campus on the left. 	From the West (Sturbridge, Southbridge) Take Route 20 to Route 131 (just east of Old Sturbridge Village). Take 131 to 169 South. You will pass through Southbridge and Woodstock. When you cross Route 171, you will know you're close (but stay on 169). After several more twists and turns (and about another five minutes of driving), you will come to a red blinking light. On the left you will see Martha's Herbary. Go left at the blinking light--we are the big green house in between Martha's Herbary and the Citgo station.
	From the West (Bradley International Airport, Springfield, Vermont) Take 91 South to 291 (the one in Connecticut, not the one near Springfield). Follow 291 to 84 East. Take 84 East to exit 69 (Route 74). Take a right onto 74 and follow it for about 10 minutes, until it ends at Route 44. Take a left onto 44 East. After about 15 minutes (and many twists and turns--stay on 44) you will pass the Pomfret School, a huge sprawling campus on the left. 	From the East (Providence) Take Route 6 West to Route 395. (Be careful not to accidentally exit onto Route 295.) Follow 395 north for several exits to exit 95 (Putnam). Take a right off the exit onto JFK Boulevard. Follow around a sweeping curve until you come to a traffic light. (Beware of speed traps here.) Go left onto 44 West. Follow 44 West into Pomfret, and stay on it (this will require a few twists and turns, but the signs are good). 	From the Country Hearth Inn and Suites (formerly King's Inn) If you’re staying in the block of rooms at the hotel, there will be a shuttle from the hotel parking lot before and after the wedding. The hotel front desk will have shuttle information. The hotel is immediately off exit 96 of Route 395, on Route 12. to get to the wedding from the hotel (assuming you’re not taking the shuttle) take a left from the hotel parking lot onto Route 12, and follow it through Putnam until it meets Route 44. Take a left onto 44 West. Follow 44 West into Pomfret, and stay on it (this will require a few twists and turns, but the signs are good). After about 3 miles, you will come around a sharp curve and see a Citgo station on your right, and a blinking light ahead. We are the big green house directly after the Citgo (and before the light).
PARKING
	There is limited parking in our driveway and on the front lawn (but expect to be blocked in, so only use the driveway if you’re planning on staying late). After 5:00 p.m. on Friday, you can use both the small parking lot at the post office (across the street about 150 yards from the house) and the lot at Martha’s Herbary (next door, with a path leading from the lot onto our property), which holds about 25 cars.
